Jericho Road meets as a whole community for gathered worship every Sunday at 10:00 AM at 5100 Tebo Avenue in Port Alberni.

Getting to know each other
We know that visiting a church and meeting new people can often be intimidating and scary. At Jericho Road we want to help make your first experience with us a positive and encouraging one. When you arrive, there will be people to welcome you and help you get settled.
What can I expect?
In total, our worship service is about 90 minutes in length. There is a band leading the church musically and song lyrics are projected onto screens to help you sing along or engage however you feel most comfortable. We listen to one or two passages from the Bible being read and then there is a message related to the passage(s) read.
Every week we have a time for anyone who wishes to come to the front and share about how they have been experiencing God’s goodness. This is often a very encouraging and inspiring time for many.
On the 1st and 3rd Sundays in the month we share in holy communion together, reminding ourselves about the story of Jesus’ life, death and resurrection, as well as renewing our participation in his life by sharing in bread and wine/juice.
What's the Culture Like at Jericho Road?
Sunday's at Jericho Road are exciting, casual, and relaxed. Come as you are and expect to feel welcomed as our guest. All are welcome on the Jericho Road, including the Holy Spirit! We believe in and worship a God who is alive and is with us therefore our expectation is for us to encounter Him and His essential goodness. Our worship therefore becomes a response of gratitude and joy in the Holy Spirit.
What About My Kids?

We believe that kids are a vital part of the church and we want them to feel valued and secure. Their safety is of utmost importance. Prior to the Coronavirus outbreak, the children would leave the larger group part way through the service for a group time that is more age-appropriate. This happened every week apart from the second Sunday of the month and was for all children through Grade 8.

On the second Sunday of each month our children remain with the rest of the church family for our Family Service - similar in many ways to our normal Sunday gatherings, but with a message that is interactive and geared for our younger members.
What About Other Activities?
We are a church focused on Growing in love to live like Jesus. That means growing in our own freedom so as to foster more healthy relationships in our lives. For us, this happens as we engage in friendships and community which we discover in our “Families on Mission”.
